Little Big Town

Los Altos History Museum
Los Altos, California

Interpretive text, photography, historical objects, and artifacts merge to reveal the vibrant history of Los Altos, California, including that of the Ohlone/Costanoan Indians. A train rumbles through old Los Altos, an Ohlone tule canoe floats on water, and Joseph Cornell-inspired shadowboxes and touch screens reveal multimedia programs that tell the stories of colorful locals. Outdoors, guests discover agricultural tools and climb aboard a restored tractor where they—surprise!—hear the engine start.
