Hanna Legacy Center

Anchored by an airy, 20-foot wooden tower, this space honors the Hanna Boys Center’s legacy as a “haven of hope” for troubled boys. Photo panels, interpretive graphics and artifacts weave through the tower’s exterior as an invitation to learn more about Hanna. Inside, letters reveal stories of difficult home lives and the hope of finding a better way. A timeline and photo mosaic of what appears to be 8 boys wraps the walls of the Center, but a closer look reveals that the 8 boys are actually composed of over 16,000 images of successful Hanna alumni.
