The Sibbett Group designed a web site that inspires travelers to spend time exploring the mystery and beauty of California deserts. Using a combination of brilliant colors, breathtaking photography and engaging text, the site serves as an open invitation to learn about some of California's most intriguing destinations.This easy-to-navigate site consists of three main areas: Nature, Trip Planning and People. A fun and informative resource, it is an ideal starting point for planning a trip to the Mojave, Colorado or GreatBasin Deserts.In the Nature area, visitors can learn all about weird and wonderful desert animals. The “plants” link features images and descriptive text about spiny cactus, colorful wildflowers and the famed Joshua Tree. The “geology” link provides detailed information about what the landscape reveals about the history of the desert. Finally, visitors can print out a copy of “Bio Bingo” and play a game of searching for and identifying various desert features while on their trip.The Trip Planning area was created to help visitors plan ahead. Here theyÕll find links filled with important travel hints, ideas for driving tours, different ways to get to the desert, what to see and do once they arrive, maps, weather information and much more.Who will visitors meet once they arrive in the desert?
